Something new that I just thought about from nothing

I never thought I would say this
Something I didn’t believe at all
Things that had just happened
Picked me up from my fall

I didn’t believe I could love again
After my past turned and left
But then came someone new
Who committed a crime called theft

She may not the best
In terms of looks and the way she dress
But what really attracted me to her
She’s just different from the rest

She is always fun and bubbly
At times naïve and dumb
But what really makes her stand out
Is how she looks at life

A smile on her face she always has
Be it good or bad or happy or sad
To live each day positively is her motto
For what’s going to happen who knows

All I know is she has also left
But her view on life is always there
Somewhere deep imbedded in my heart
For in my life she will always play a part
